I'm a bit more optimistic, Hampshire look like beating Worcester which is probably the best result we could hope for as it was never going to be a draw, that keeps Worcester as favourites for one of the two relegation slots even with a game in hand on us. Clearly we have to beat the Yorkies at the very least to have a chance but their form since the Championship resumed has been abysmal. It’ll be tough for sure. Played a game more than the other relegation threatened teams so we only have 2 to play, whereas they all have 3 once this round of matches is completed. And those 2 games are away to Yorkshire and Hampshire who are both down there with us. 2 wins will probably be needed, although a win and a draw with lots of bonus points might do it. We’ve been so close to beating both Somerset and Surrey in the past 3 games (the 2 best teams this season), and the fine margins in both games have seen us pick up only 8 points for a tie and a 6 run loss instead of 32 points for 2 wins.
