Not my choice, I can assure you!

I fly with 40-somethings on a $90,000 pension and $50/mo full medical, dental & vision, with an ID that lets them grocery shop on any base at a huge discount, etc, etc, etc…

The MIC is smart. They distribute assets all over the country, then every Senator votes to make certain the $$$$$ keep flowing into their state.

It’s a disgrace, but, as one of my friends likes to say, a problem beyond human scale!!

In a Govt where FREEZING COSTS is openly derided as a “cut,” and thus NO-ONE dares say the words, it’s all one can expect.

I know because my tag is Chicago and I own a few guns because I used to be one of the armed pilots, I must sound like a militaristic nut to some of the lefties on here, but I’m LEFT WING in the USA, on every issue except law & order.

Quite the quandary trying to overcome the automatic prejudice when hoping to discuss some of these issues. And, I’m an AVOWED Trump hater and think his followers are delusional idiots.
