laptop for £200?

mine has given up the ghost. had it five years, the screen just went blank and the hard drive light is no more.

does anyone know were i can get a decent one for this price? (preferebly not celeron) cheers.

i know, i probably am. i searched online before and couldnt find any! thought i'd ask one of you lot!

not really after a notebook... if anyone is selling one on here, i will take it?!

I've seen an "extra value" laptop on ebuyer for £300.. Just doesn't include the OS, so might be an option if you already have one or plan to use linux.

EeePC is a no frills Aldi-brand PC.

But for £200, that's all you can expect to get :)

I.e fitting a HDD & Disc drive.
