Laptop playing up - techheads?

Got YouTube on listening to a few tunes and a second window browsing. Sound off YouTube browser keeps skipping every few seconds as if its struggling, doing my nut right in. Why? Its not just this specific video either. Never happened before, restarted windows aswell. HELP!

What browser do you use and do you have the java kit installed as an addon ?.

Also have you updated your browser recently ?

Recent firefox builds have struggled with java, including mine so i had to disable it until mozilla fix it.

Sorry been on the drink, totally the wrong forum.

Anyway, its the latest IE as far as I am aware and I run all the updates on request, like flash and that.

The skipping seems to happen when there is activity in the other window, like when I click on a new thread here for example.

This will clean all your cache (live memory use) etc, just uncheck anything you do not want to delete.
It has a very simple interface, even for a drunk blue :D

This should fix it, if it does not i will take a look myself which usually ends up bad as it will be a hardware fault.

Did what you said and then through various other web-aquired tips cleaned my shit up. Seems to be running alot smoother now, cheers blue, I owe you a pint.
