Its Mrs Kippax 30th so no brass for me lol!!
not really a fan of the slots so really looking for shows ect(belive the Venetian has some good stuff?)
belive you can walk down/up the strip in about 2 hours is that right?
Also is it FREE to walk in any hotel and use the casino's or pay for the attractions?

It's about right for the strip and it's a bit like Blackpool front in parts.

You can go inside any hotel and see the attractions for free.

You will get loads of vouchers at your hotel which you can get discounts on food etc.

If you walk the strip during the day in June you will be half dead by the end, unbelievably hot.

Going in June(just booked it!!)
Staying at Circus Circus and the price also included trips to Gran Canyon and the Hoover Dam
so is there anything else i should go to? thanks(going for a week btw)

Been there several times, but only for 2/3 nights tops.....a week is a bit long IMO, but if you're going to Hoover Damn I suppose it breaks it up slightly. If you hire a car LA is about a 5hr drive away (sounds bad but there roads are nothing like ours, you'll hardly see another car in between Vega and the outskirts of LA) you can stay in a cheapish hotel in LA like a best western for about 50-100 dollars and spend some time at Venice Beach/Santa Monica/Hollywood/Malibu....lovely beaches etc

My Vegas Tips:

Way more fun at night to walk the Strip than in the day. And if you can change your accommodation, do it! CC is regularly rated as maybe the worst place to stay.

MGB sportsbook is one of my favourite things to do. Great energy. And really good value for your dollar as a way to be a player.

You can make your bankroll go much further with blackjack (or baccarat if you like it) than any other games

The shows are a good thing to do with the missus. She enjoyed the O show at the Bellagio.

Some cracking night clubs - the one in New York, New York was particularly good. Bellagio's was way too pricey and pretentious.

Wherever you stay, sign up for whatever their casino deal is - there's almost always some promotion if you sign up for a frequent players card.

There's some good golf around there if you want advice about that.

Think about getting an in-room couples massage as a treat. All above board!

Oh learn how to play craps!! Its really fun!! The only thing is that there are only a few bets on the table you should actually make!! Bankroll management is KEY and you need a fair amount to play. If you dont have a lot to play, dont bother!

Bankroll Management and Craps in the same sentance is almost an oxymoron. Its a horrible game that will destroy your savings no matter how you manage them. ;)

Craps is far the best game in the casino, and has the best odds to the gambler, so Franks right bankroll management is the name of the game! The casino will offer free lessons so you can learn the game.

Don't forget to tip the waitress who brings the drinks, I would imagine it's still a dollar.

If you want a room upgrade, ask when you are signing in, and have a $20/50 bill on show, say hold your wallet with the 20 folded out side of it , then if she upgrades you, pass it discretely to her. I lived in the states for a few years and we used to go for weekends and this always worked. Depending on how full the hotel is of course.

You have to go to the shows, I found David Copperfield magic show about 100 times better than expected, with lots of chance of going on stage with him, he just throws things into the crowd pass the parcel fashion and when the music stops off you go. I had a few chances to go on stage but passed them on to the women sat around me, until I was on my 2nd bottle of wine and I was brave enough to go on stage!
