Thought i would bring this thread back up as im going in September. I have been to vegas twice, but its when i was younger with my parents. Im after some advice please

Where is the best place to stay how much do you have?
Best casino for poker/blackjack/roulette Quite a few places, depends if you want to highroll as well
Best places to EatPurely subjective to taste, help us out
Best helicopter company to use for Grand canyon trip.
Except from helicopter trips these will always been differing opinions. The helicopter trips pretty much cost the same land in the same area and cover the same amount. I used sundance and they picked us up in a limo and drove us to the airport where the helicopters where. It was pretty cool but I think they all the same

Hotel wise we want to be right on the strip close to everything, but without spending a fortune. Room must over look the strip, say $400 for 3 nights?

Casino wise it would only be for a few hours. Maybe a couple of poker tournaments, say $30 buy in? WOuld also like to play Blackjack and Roulette
Food wise we like all sorts, but must be good quality.
We have looked at maverick helicopter tours which lands you at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Its a 10 hour tour and costs $400. Think we will go for that one.

When you going? I fly there on Monday for a week

All booked, cant wait to go now!!!

Whats Monte Carlo like???

its ok, very nice, a tiny bit further down the strip than i'd like but the free city centre tram runs down the back of it. that goes to the aria and the bellagio.

cross ther road for the main tram (get a 3 day rover for about 15$) that goes the full length of the strip right up to the stratoshere. taking in all the big hotels i.e. mgm, wynn, venetian and co.

Where would you recommend to stay mate? No more that $400 for 3 nights really.
