Would like the club to get back to that phase where we didn't care about net spend and just went out in the market and spent a tonne of cash on world class players.

Our owners will never be accepted because of who they are and what they are, so why should we care about net spend? Why should they care about net spend?

We have seen the difference in opinion in the media about Chelsea spending all this money in comparison to us so I'd like to think we can get back to boiling some p*"s again this summer with some big signings walking through the door.

They don't do it because they want to be accepted, they do it because its a business, and we have proven that as a football club and a business we can be very successful without spend, spend, spend every year.

When the time is right to spend big again we will.

I thinks that’s true to an extent but summer could also be the summer we make the most money from the academy / CFG and older players going.
