Last was Band of Horses at the Academy last night, next is Madness on December 7th, should be a top night.

My lad and 12 of his mates went to the 3 day concert at Stoke in August.Madness were on and to be fair most hadn`t heard of them.
They are going to Liverpool on the 7th or 8th to watch them.20 years of age loving an old band !! Magic our Maurice !

Quo any good? Never seen the original lot and thinking of going.

Saw them at Bingley Hall (Staffs) in 1976 and they were brilliant. Not sure what they are like nowadays.

Seen them a few times recently but not the original line up. Just wondering what the difference is and if it was worth shelling out for.

I saw them in 1971 at the Free Trade Hall and then in 1972 at the Hardrock - awesome then they were

Seen them many times since too

I'm sure they'll still be good, but how good 40 years on I don't know

I saw all the bands back in the 70's and 80's when they were in their prime. Would I go and watch any of them today - no, not even for sentimental reasons. I'll keep my memories of how they all were back then

-- Tue Nov 20, 2012 2:03 pm --
