Spurs will be out of it by then, its between us and liverpool

how on earth will spurs be out of it? im telling you if spurs beat sunderland saturday which after watching them rely on there keeper far to much in recent games is a very good possibility, then spurs are probably just 1 win against either arsenal, chelsea, utd or city from getting to 70 points, these are not the games which stop spurs getting into the top 4 its the other 3 games that will decide where we finish, arsenal or chelsea will not go to tottenham that confident & neither have outplayed tottenham in years at the lane,we are nearing the return off aaron lennon & that will make a a big difference to our pace of play, i admire your confidence fella but city have hardly been pulling up trees with there displays & in my opinion has just as hard a run in than spurs?
just saying that in my opinion you will be out of it by the last game as i believe you will lose against arsenal, chelsea, rags and us which i think will be enough for you to not get 4th, in fact ive a feeling that sunderland will get something from you at the weekend which will put a big dent in your attempt for 4th

I did the predictor based on us only getting draws against the rags, villa and spurs this morning and I ended up with spurs, dippers and ourselves all ending the season on 68 points!

I think it's between City and Spurs with Spurs having the slightest of edges

I can't see us both slipping up sufficiently to allow Liverpool back in, but it's possible

I think form goes out of the window now. It's how each team deals with the pressure game by game.

A couple of weeks ago I though Sunderland v Spurs was going to be a very tough game, but then I saw Sunderland at Liverpool and they were in a relaxed end of season mode. Ideally I'd like City to be ahead of Spurs by the time we meet so that you have to attack us.

If Spurs make it ahead of City then congratulations are due. You've played some great football this season.

im indeed more worried about saturdays game against sunderland than the trio of games against the top 3 coming up,if we do win saturday,i personally think we are maybe a win & a draw away against arsenal, chelsea, united & city from setting a target, because we will beat bolton at home & the burnley away will be a gimme as they will be down by then & simply not good enough, 4 wins gives us 70points with a better goal difference, that will be very hard to beat in my opinion, saturday away to sunderland is tottenhams d day

-- Tue Mar 30, 2010 5:14 pm --

Tbf I dont see us getting that 4th spot at all, and if we did I would worry that we wouldnt make it through the knockout stages anyway. Ok you could say (and my old man does!) that 4th then open us up to a better calibre of player but in all honesty who would come? We bought "world class players" in the summer supposedly and look whats gone on there! I love City to bits but I think we are not ready for 4th yet. Dont get me wrong I'll take it if it happens but I'd be happy to get 5th and secure that Europa spot. But thats just me.....
