Last Film You Saw

Venom, had potential but it's pretty crap. Seems to be missing whole chunks, symbiote goes from being a maniac to being normal, then it makes wise crack remarks. Seemed like they were trying to make it like a Deadpool anti-villain but it should have been an 18 then. Tom Hardy was shit in it, his accent isn't convincing and neither is Riz Ahmed's. I don't understand why Hollywood continue to employ British actors and force them to do American accents when it's really not needed, assume the British actors are cheaper but can't imagine Tom Hardy is much cheaper than a fairly famous American actor.

"Free Solo" is a pretty incredible documentary (guy attempts to climb up a 3,000 foot granite rock face with no ropes), and once you've watched that "Meru" is also worth a watch.

You should have made her watch the best Christmas film then

I tried....she didn't go for it :( re-education programme, incoming.

"White Boy Rick".

I'm completely baffled by this film. I don't know what the point of it was!

A film about an uninteresting kid, in a common situation, that gets into selling as he lives in a run down town part of a Black neighbourhood.

There's nothing to grab on to, no one to root or feel sorry for and no one to understand.

The protagonist has a problem of is own making and the audience shrugs their collective shoulders.

Utterly pointless story telling as it's devoid of any emotional root.

Are we supposed to feel sorry for the White kid when you wouldn't for a Black kid..??

Extremely poor.
