Last Film You Saw

Substance

Only ended up watching this because I was flicking through the firestick and caught 10 minutes of the middle and had to find out what the fuck was going on in this movie. Much darker than it may seem at first. Fantastic acting and cinematography. I dont want to spoil too much but I'd be very surprised if it doesn't scoop some awards. The last half hour is just mental!

Went to see Gladiator 2 in an afternoon screening on Saturday.

An absolute shocker of a movie, I actually laughed out loud a couple of times as lots of it is just unbelievable.

1/10......and I'm being generous. At least the Cinema served Shindigger.

Aw no, I loved the first film and was hopeful for this, Paul Mescal even looks like he could be Russel Crowe's Son.

Really I heard it’s getting high praise, I loved the first il wait until I can watch on my big screen at home as to many knobs spoil the cinema experience these days
Yeah I've heard some good things about it. I think some people are going into already thinking it'll be shit and no way near as good as the original (which it obviously won't be)

I'll go into with an open mind

My favourite film of the year by quite a long way. It really is awesome.

Loved Deadpool.
Loved Deadpool 2.

Yesterday I sat down to watch Deadpool and Wolverine...

...I managed to get to the 30min mark and just thought "This is utter shit!" and turned it off.

What am I missing when others are calling it brilliant??
Watched this on disney+ the other night, thought it was terrible & would have walked out if I had seen that at the cinema.

Disappointing to hear. Was looking forward to it.

Judging by the trailers, it looks too action-packed; the original was a slow burning drama interspersed with a few spectacular arena scenes, that's what made it special. The second looks gratuitous by comparison.

Watched this a while back and it seemed interesting for the first 3/4. My wife didn’t appreciate the nudity in it so I was squirming in my seat. But sadly the film ran out of ideas and a budget. That John merrick re- animator style ending ruined it.

I didn't mind the ending tbh, think it was a Cronenberg homage and the last shot on the star was superb. Its not subtle at all but it's a while since I've watched a film so visually arresting. Makes a change from all the boring rebooted franchises anyway!

I think it will be regarded as a cult classic in years to come.

My only real complaint was the runtime. I didn’t think the last 15 minutes were necessary and it becomes repetitive in the middle.

These Final Hours 2014 - World is about to end so guy sets off for a party. Sounds like a comedy but in actual fact is quite a poignant, sweet Aussie film that might just bring a tear or two to your cynical eye.......

Paddington 3, took 6 Yr old grandson...really enjoyed it, solid 9 out of 10....Banderos was good in it..
