JoJo Rabbit - Outstanding film, funny, sad, a bit of everything 9/10

Just watched Limitless about a writer who after taking a special pill, gains the full use of his brain (as we only use a small proportion of it normally) and becomes super smart.

At the end of the film he has refined the pills, factored out the side effects and found himself in a position whereby he can see the future unfolding..

He did mumble under his breath about half way through the film that he could see red ribbons on the Premier League trophy at the end of the season but put it down as a bad batch of pills as the paperboy is f'kin useless..!

It was OK to be honest..!

They did a series on Sky 1 of this and found it really good.

They dropped the series as Bradley Cooper didn't want to take it further, a real shame

Just watched 1917. Excellent.

Thought it... okay.

The whole one tracking shot got boring after a bit, even though it was well done.

I didn't enjoy the film lead's performance. He didn't engage me, at all.

It was all about 'what's gonna happen to him now', rather than sympathise with the character along the journey.

Uncut Gems.

Loved it although, like the lead character played by Adam Sandler, it was hard to love at times.

Rambo last blood. Its OK, not the best rambo but a decent bloody revenge story.

1917. Very immersive. If you have any understanding for WW1 it’s a must see. If you don’t know anything about WW1, it’s still a must see.

From a technical perspective, very clever film.
