Last Film You Saw

It’s brilliant mate … well, I think so ;-)
Yep, The Alan J. Pakula "paranoia trilogy" are all top notch films.

The Conversation is a genuine work of art. Brilliant film.

Are you mad? I watch the first hour,if that and that's it. Still dont know how many people that **** Jaws scoffed. And im happy with that, thank you very much.
Ffs Bill. All I will be thinking about when I watch it, is that bloody twist. I will be looking at every scene, every character, every possible plot line, behavoural nuance, subtext, motives, imagined or otherwise, mostly imagined, to the point of distraction. Thanks a million.

You can go right off people.
:)

Pakula had a superb career didn’t he? His films were always watchable.
Yeah, that list contains some of my all time favourites. I’m not sure I’d say it was the case for music, fashion, food or much else in fact(!), but if I could only choose one decade for movies it would be the 1970s.

The nature and subject of the films, their direction, but also the quality of the film itself, the light, and the photography gives them a feel that largely vanished by the 1980s.

So, The kids mithererd me to put on that bloody K-Pop Demon Hunters.
All i will say is all the memes and clips on tik tok and Instagram are right.

The songs are bloody catchy and I will admit I bloody loved it.

Weapons better than I thought it would be 7/10
I thought this was going to be one to remember.
Unfortunately, it was a slog.
Pacing was bad, the repeating scenes were not exciting, the whole premise was laughable to the extreme (when the cops went to the kids house, where was the mum? Why did the cops not go through the house with a CSI team?
Why was the house getting into that state not picked up by people?
Where were the friends and neighbours of the kids family?
Didn't any half decent copper think to track the directions of the kids?)
And to top it off, the final "chase" scene was like something off Benny Hill on acid.
And how could a 900 year old woman suddenly run like Bolt?
I give this film a 5/10. And that's generous. I really should deduct another point for it wasting my time.
In fact, I will.... 4/10
