If you know he's in it you know it will be brilliant

Apart from Joe vs Volcano I don’t think he’s made a bad film

I would say Hanks has made more rubbish films than good ones. Below is a list of the gash he has produced.

I would say everybody has different views of what constitutes a good film.
Personally, I enjoyed 8 of that list. There’s a few I’ve not seen. Agree with castaway though.
All in all I think Hanks has been one of the most consistent actors over the last 30 years.
