[Blue Maverick]

I've been working today and been listening to the Interstellar soundtrack on my headphones at the same time, it's made me want to watch it again. The score is just something else, as with most of Hans Zimmers, but there's a few scenes in this film that really give me a lump in my throat. One is where he is watching the messages that have arrived to the ship from his kids while he's been on the planet, another is when he is in the 5th dimension while watching himself and telling his daughter not to let him go and when he finally see's Murph again but she's old, heartbreaking. Fuck, what a great film. But i know there's a lot of people that think it's shit, which i can understand as well.

It’s a great film and the soundtrack I often have on when playing on the PC the cornfield music is fantastic.

Decent thriller with Hugh Jackman playing the father of a kidnapped girl. Jake Gyllenhall plays the detective. Worth a watch.

Just caught the last hour of Hotel Mumbai. Hadn't seen it before. Powerful, and heartbreaking, stuff. Staggering the barbaric acts man will do to his fellow man in the name of religion.

Watched Zodiac over the last two nights. Was vaguely aware of the story but didn’t realise it stretched over such a long time. Worth a watch on Prime.

Watched a few recently, here goes....

"The Secret of My Success" (1987) Cheesy but enjoyable Micheal J Fox film. 7/10
"The Dark Mirror" (1946) Above average Film Noir with the always watchable Olivia de Haviland. (7/10)
"The Eyes of Laura Mars" (1978) rollicking "High brow" slasher with Faye Dunaway and Tommy Lee Jones. (7/10)
"Class of 1999" (1990) Barmy future for the time B movie with a great ending. 8/10
"Secret Beyond the Door" (1947) Dated but very enjoyable Noir. 8/10
"Body Double" (1984) Absolutely bonkers and cracking Brian De Palma film. 9/10
