Last Film You Saw

Don't breathe, on C4 last night. Oof, that was pretty bad. Airbrushed pretty young actors as house burglars, perfect grooming and hygeine, and no real motive to be involved in such a highly dangerous crime, the fucking 50kg Rottweiler attacking them in their car didn't put them off, nor did the victim being a wiry 6ft 4 army vet. The twist being that he was blind. And apparently, deaf as a fucking post and can't really smell either, when it suits the scriptwriter. Anyway it gets nasty halfway through, another story point is bolted on and hey whaddya kow, it was leading us in to one of those US horrors were the girls are tortured and spend an awful lot of time in chains / gags restrained, bruised and bloody.

That's entertainment!

The Invisible Man starring Elizabeth Moss in a somewhat recent 2020 film. Sci-Fi horror, an excellent watch with a great twist at the end. Moss was par-excellent so we scored it a resounding 8/10.

After staging his own suicide, a crazed scientist uses his power to become invisible to stalk and terrorize his ex-girlfriend. When the police refuse to believe her story, she decides to take matters into her own hands and fight back.
