The Crow.
Forgot how good that film really is. Shame what happened to Brandon Lee.

The Joker starring the quite brilliant Joaquin Phoenix with a nice cameo guest appearance from that master of his chosen craft Bob De Niro and without reservation my film recommendation of the year. Its about the artsy world of clowning and its about mimes and its about mental illness and its about becoming a character and its about so many different things that encompass that dark seedy underbelly of gotham city. The story is told through the eyes of a mentally ill man who is desperately struggling with abandonment issues . Joaquin phoenixs performance and commitment to the role is beyond the superlative and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
The wonderful thing about the world of films and I guess music too, is that it's all subjective and one man meat is another mans poison. As mentioned I thought it was up there with the years best and was all about the Jokers origin and understandable descent into madness. Disturbing viewing at times but who wouldn't be disturbed being whelped within that dank dark suburban setting. As mentioned .. a city of graveyards gargoyles alleys and asylums, gotham is the nightmare corrupting the soul of man and I did empathize with poor Arthur who was more molded to fit to his surroundings. Bless you chap and on a person level I thought you were a very funny stand up kinda guy.Doesn’t do it for me. I just couldn't feel anything for Phoenix's character. Not anger, not pity, not empathy; nothing.
Just watching Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid. Now, that is a classic film. Newman and Redford on top form.
Yep,both are awesome.Perfect family viewing!Just watching Paddington 2 again. What a great film
Which one Jim .. Any of the trilogy are brilliant. Not keen on the legend one where he didn't appear?Watching Jason Bourne at the moment. Cracking film. Damon is excellent as the lead character.
The one simply called "Jason Bourne". Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassell (the Asset), Julia Stiles.Which one Jim .. Any of the trilogy are brilliant. Not keen on the legend one where he didn't appear?
He makes James Bond look like a sad sac.
