Last Film You Saw

"Promising Young Woman".

I rather like the premise of this film, but it doesn't quite seem to convey the right message or should I say not quite knows what it wants to say.

As a result the film is a bit lost with plot holes and a mishmash of potential and ill thought out writing.

In the end, it ends up disappointing, but it could have been saved.

St.Frances
on Netflix.

I don’t know what group is behind it but I felt I was being preached to, but I don’t know who by, or what the fuck the message was.

There was some feminist/Christian/anti-abortion/ pro-choice shit going on and more menstruation than I want to see again, going on.
There was a lesbian marriage/family narrative thing going on and, and, well that’s my point. I don’t know what the hell the point was or what side of the argument it was on.
Only thing I was sure of from the start is that I was being preached to, when all I was looking for was another, ‘Fundamentals of Caring’ type of thing.

#Alive - zombie movie
Psychokenisis - drama with a fanrasy elelment
The Call - horror/thriller

3 Korean films on netflix all were alright if you like that type of thing.

A Christmas Story yesterday. First time for the kids...they are finally old enough to enjoy it. 10 year old said it was the best movie he had ever seen. Not far off my favourite either. 10/10 Every scene is magic.

Jaws just starting on Sky Movies.

When Hooper and Brody are about to head out looking for the shark....
Brody; "on the water?"
Hooper; "Well, if we're looking for a shark, we're not going to find him on the land"
