Last Film You Saw

Outpost on Amazon Prime. For a budget of $5m they did a great job with this film. About a US Outpost in Afghan that was attacked by Taliban. True story. Very good 9/10.
Watched this last night myself, thought it was really good, too.

Whose idea was it to set up a base there, at the bottom of the valley ffs? Talk about a ridiculous location that put their own troops at great risk!

I think some officers were reprimanded following the investigation. The Battle of Kamdesh. They lacked close air support. Took the helicopters and planes too long to get there.

Second time back since the re-opening. Have the unlimited Cineworld pass so go every week.
To be fair, unless you're in the foyer or going the toilet, you don't really have to keep it on when watching the film.

The Outpost love real stories and I’d heard the story before in I think a National Geographic documentary, as ever poor leadership almost cost all those men their lives. 8/10

I took a chance a few nights ago and watched Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy; I really had to concentrate as it’s so easy to miss something important in the dialogue but ultimately enjoyed it. Gary Oldman was magnificent yet again.
One of my favourites.
Everyone in that film is really good. Stellar cast of British actors of course.
Gary oldman is a very good actor, it's not easy to fill the boots of someone like Alec Guinness as George Smiley but he does an admiral job, I actually think it's the best role he has done.
