Last Film You Saw

The Eight Hundred (Sky Cinema)

Really good subtitled Chinese film based on a true story about the Chinese Army's resistance to the Japanese invasion in the late 1930's, solid 7-7.5/10 for me.

I got recommended it by my mum. She said there's a scene (towards the end) where a choice is made, tell me what you'd do, I'd know what I'd do.. she said
Turns out, I don't know my mum as well as I thought I did
 
The Green Knight,well filmed decent story 7/10
A ghost story by the same Director as the green knight,lasted 30 minutes and binned it.

The Pebble and the boy. Film about lad from Manchester who's dad was a mod and a journey on scooter to Brighton with his dad's ashes. Imo plot little thin at times but enjoyed it for what it was. His dad's scooter some lovely bits on it

I agree,it was good but it could have been Lambretta.

2nd time watching this.
The first time I just didnt get it, after a second viewing months later I still dont get it. Surely this is more a doco ?
No storyline, not much dialogue, looks like it was filmed on an iphone 12.

Cant believe it won best picture, best director and best actor oscars. I mean did Frances actually do any great acting in this movie ? She is a great actor but I didnt see this film requiring any intense acting.
