Last Film You Saw

This is how your start a film and it becomes something you never imagine!

The Postman..

Remember starting watching this not knowing nothing much about it, at the beginning it drew me in but maybe it’s because I like Kevin Costner. Loved it watched it four five times and still love it! Rating wise wasn’t that good bit like Waterworld got criticism loved that to..

Just love these dystopian films and why I was looking forward to Finch! It could of been so so much better.

It's too long, but it's centred on Costner at the height of his 'decent guy doing the right thing' heights. He's not cool, but has a line of excellent films.

I agree with this sentiment on Costner.

I actually avoid this film for this reason and was going to post as much earlier, but thought I was being a little harsh!

It was a real ' Kev Costner Saves Humanity' period, wasn't it?!

It's not a brilliant film by any means, but it's held together by him and probably will be reviewed better now than then (when he was there to be knocked down a peg).

Field of Dreams
Bull Durham
The Untouchables
Dances With Wolves
JFK
Thirteen Days
Tin Cup
Field of Dreams again (because it's just brilliant)

I'm not that sold on Waterworld, and that and the Postman broke his run. He directed another western with him in (I forget which) which got him back on a lower rung of the ladder, but still solid in what he does.
