Last Film You Saw

Watched 1917 again last night. Whilst there’s some brilliant scenes in it and it’s ambitious in its one-take filming, there is a 15 minute portion which is shite. It’s the bit where he’s running through the smouldering ruins of that town whilst Germans are shooting at him from 15 yards away and yet missing every time! Complete bollocks but otherwise it’s a brilliant film.
Not a patch on the recently-released All Quiet on the Western Front though which is a must-see 10/10

Don't worry honey - watchable and quite a good plot but lacked any real depth or actual background which would draw you in. Could of been a lot better i thought. 5/10

Recommended Banshees of Inisherin to my pal which I thoroughly enjoyed, gave me a right bollocking yesterday, he thought it was shite……each to his own

It's an incredible film, saw it last night.

Heartarchingly sad, absolutely hilarious, brilliant acting, very tight script, has a lot to say.

Watched an old British horror/thriller last night. Made in 1982 and called 'The appointment' starring Edward Woodward. I quite enjoyed it in that it is of its type and era, the acting was fairly poor (apart from Woodward) and the storyline a bit rambling. Atmospheric though and if you like British low budget films it is worth a watch.
