Has anyone seen American sniper? Or the film about Alan Turing?
Seen American Sniper. Good start, but then turns into the usual American family shite. I turned it off after about an hour.

How can you enjoy the start of a film, not like the middle but not watch the end to see if it match the start or not?

Anyway, just watched whiplash. Enjoyable but I think Simmons makes the film.

Taken 3. With this, The Equalizer and John Wick, seems like all the bad guys these days are tattooed Russians who can't shoot straight.

The bad guys in Hollywood movies depends on who America is currently pissed off with. In the late 70s and early 80s they were still angry with the Vietnamese, and perpetually angry with the Russians. So we got all those Vietnam movies and Rambo films. Once the cold war had ended and political correctness kicked in, the only bad guys it was PC to hate were the English. Nearly every film in the 90s had brits as the bad guys. Since 911 its been the Arabs or Muslims and now we're back on Russians again.

John wick, absolutely class

I thought I recognised Charlie who comes to clean up the boddies, and a quick search on IMDB tells me its Luther from The Warriors. What a blast from the past that is.

John Wick. Not bad at all. Not really the type of film I like but thought Keanu Reeves was pretty good in it.

Watched interstellar for second time, just as good as first time. Don't know why but it gets me proper teary eyed in parts (though I had been drinking). Great film and bloody travesty it got fuck all nominations. Also Hans Zimmers score is amazing.
Seen Whiplash and despite the fucking jazz shite music bleeding my ears thought it was very good, the guy playing the teach must get a oscar...superb performance, he says some crazy funny shit but his performance was so intense I felt I was at school again and didn't dare laugh..."you give a idiot a calculator and he'll try change the channel on the tv with it" I was transported back to 1996 trying to hold in my giggles with that one, again epic performance
