Last Film You Saw

Covenant - A decent yarn with a dig at America shiting on Afghans who supported them, enjoyed it, 7.5/10

The cigarette ad for (Winston tastes good like a cigarette should) never bothered me, but Nash had a clever retort (Madison Avenue, NY was where many leading advertising firms of the time held their main offices):

Ogden Nash, in The New Yorker, published a poem that ran "Like goes Madison Avenue, like so goes the nation.

Blood & Gold on Netflix.
A German language film. This is pretty much an old spaghetti western, but set in the final days of WWII. With Nazi's searching for gold and a righteous man & women coming up against them.

It was quite good for something on Netflix. 7/10

I was going to take a look at "Air Force One Down". It comes across as the type of film I'd enjoy (disengage your brain, sit back and enjoy), but a lot of the reviews are horrific.

I took a gamble, and watched it last night. It isn't great, to be honest. Also; I don't know how many times I've seen the president of the US on TV down the years, always surrounded by secret service agents talking into their shirt cuffs. I've never seen any that look like Katherine McNamara!
