Rewatched Boogie Nights on Saturday - still a great film although a bit long. Would’ve loved to see Burt Reynolds win the oscar that year but it wasn’t to be.

Nine Days (2020) - 8/10

came across this on Netflix and had no idea what is was, odd little fantasy-drama style film in which some sort of arbiters of purgatory interview folks for another chance at life. Looks at meaning of life, the way people view the world etc. It's a decent film, well made.

Watching Terminator 2 at the moment. It's a good film, but I prefer the original; it's "grittier", has more of an edge to it. T2 seems to be a showcase for the special effects. Which are very good, and were groundbreaking for their time (1991). But they are beginning to look a bit dated now.
