Last Film You Saw

Dune 2 - 8/10

extremely visually strong, with excellent sound and editing. A real cinema film, one for the big screen if ever there was. But i remain unconvinced by some characters, especially Chalamet's portrayal of Paul Atreidies, i am unsure he captured the nuance of his change. Also, the introduction of Feyd Rautha was a bit too much like a perfume advert. Flabby 20 mins in the middle and yet still not enough time to develop a suite of strong characters. If you want to see it, try for the big sceen.

Fatal Attraction - Still stands up as a decent psycho film, and Bunny Boiler still gets thrown around 7/10

Spaceman, the new Adam sandler film on Netflix.

Fucking brilliant, so surprised I loved this as much as I did.

8.5/10.

The Mill - A Businessman wakes up next to a mill in a prison cell with no idea how he got there - on Disney + - will give it a solid 7/10

Zone of interest, damn it’s hard watch, after watching recently the World at War series (again) it beggars belief what would’ve happened had we not defeated those bastards. A very good film about an awful subject 8/10

I have read quite a few holocaust books and seen documentaries and films, far from desensitised it appals me that much I couldn't watch another one.

Moulin Rouge (for the first time ever). Not for me. Just write your own songs, lads.

Still, at least Boy George was nowhere to be seen.
