i thought that was very good myself, won an Oscar for short film? There are 4 of those Roald Dahl adaptations that were released together; The Swan, Poison, The Rat Catcher & Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar. All worth a watch.

Want to watch Joaquin Phoenix mumble and become unravelled very very slowly in a film with no apparent story/ending?
There are probably still better options than this film.
4/10 maybe, feeling generous.

Harry Brown - my take is probably controversial, but I thought the film was mostly shite.

For starters - the plot is formulaic - some old guy's best friend is killed by out-of-control, lawless hoodlums and the police can't help, so he takes matters into his own hands. Cue complete implausibility.

4.5/10 for me

Stellar cast, quite enjoyable. Natalie Portman is a fine actress.
