Last Film You Saw

Death Wish (1974) - 7/10

Bronson's character becomes a vigilante after going through trauma. It may be my ignorance but I had no idea this spawned a franchise, apparently this was the best one. Bronson can't do emotion so any non-action scene felt a bit pointless.

John Wick Chapter 4:

This one had the highest kill rate of the franchise, with 151 confirmed in the space of a few hours. Very much in the realms of the tongue in cheek, but I fully understood this before tuning in, so digested it all with a pinch of salt.

Out of the John Wick franchise, I enjoyed the 1st the most, closely followed by the 2nd, but take nothing away from Keanna's ability to dance the dance, a beyond the fascinating watch with a few scoops of nectar and Chicago Town pizza.

A special mention to that blind assassin geezer for his utter devotion to duty. It really amazes me how sight deficient people can improvise using only sound, touch and smell, to steer themselves around the mayhem of a combat arena.
He was good, but I'm not sure I would have selected him as my nominated second with dueling pistols at 30 paces : /

John was hacked at, and shot at, and thumped and kicked, and thrown down innumerable flights of stairs, punched out of windows, run over, and generally maltreated at every twist and turn ... but he simply would not die!

RIP John Wick:

Score is 6/10
