Last Film You Saw

I don't even know what spoilers he's referring to. Nothing has been said that isn't either in the trailer, or is a standard Bond film event. Bond fucks a Bond girl, who'd have thought it... sorry for ruining the surprise!
I thought everyone KNEW this was the last ever Bond film 0:)

Anyway, first 30mins great, but rest of film no great shakes.

Went to see Spectre last night and really enjoyed it. The opening scene is incredible and that festival is one I want to go to! I would say it’s probably second to the crane climbing opening scene from Casino Royale but equally exciting. The theme song sounds a lot better in the context of the film too. There’s a return to some of the older slapstick Bond moments with comedy lines and action scenes that are as exciting as they are ridiculous. I liked the darkness and deeper character exploration they did on previous Bonds – coming to terms with heart break, killing etc and this one showed Bond in the traditional way as more ruthless and less compassionate though some of that remained.

Looking back, the one criticism is the portrayal of the bad guys… I know it’s usual for Bond to save the day before a plan is executed but I felt like there needed to be more. There was a lot of talk about what they had done and could do, but there wasn’t a direct threat as such so I felt that’s where it lacked context.

Citizen Four

Docu-film leading up to and during Ed Snowden's whistle blowing. Highly recommended, though it may have you reaching for the Bacofoil afterwards. Embarrassingly i found myself bristling with pride that GCHQ have the best centre for data spying in the world. (I know you are reading this data analysts...i love U)

I like anything by Quentin Tarantino don't know what genre his films go under..
I'm easy usually so any latest films that are good i'll watch so recommend away Kenzie :-)

Here is a recommendation; never ever watch any of the Insidious franchise. Pile of crap.
The new Everest film is ok though. You get the usual survival/disaster back story of the characters (so following a well known formula) but the film is good of its kind. Very well done towards the end, much better than most of its kind.

Been off with my daughter so watched a couple on Netflix

Instructions Not Included - Mexican film with some subtitles and some spoken english, very good 8/10

The Odd Life of Timothy Green - family film, happy/sad stuff 8/10

Pitch Perfect 2 - funny and featuring some really hot women - 8/10 (not on Netflix)

Kajaki - True story about some British soldiers in Hellmand Province...insane story and well worth a watch 9/10 - not with my daughter I might add!!

Prefer K2

The Karaoke bar that is :-)

Will give it a watch on your say so Kenzie, even though climbing a mounting graveyard nicknamed "Rainbow Valley", simply because of the multicolored down jackets of the numerous corpses littering the hillside doesn't quite appeal..
