Last Film You Saw

Gifted - Some great acting, especially from the little girl, decent 7/10

Table 19 - About a group of misfits at a wedding, shoved on a table out of the way...Stephen Merchant is pretty good, as is Anna Kendrick 7/10
25 mins left of table 19, paused for a brew and fag, reminds me of a modern take on the breakfast club, very good so far :)

Edit : pretty good 7.5 /10

Pandorum - 6.5/10

Seen as the spiritual successor to Event Horizon(slightly different story but the script it was rewrote from "The Stars my destination" was more along these lines), which in itself ended up a cult classic when it went to video. Not quite as good for me but worth a watch all the same. It has some good actors in it Dennis Quad(Enemy Mine) and Norman Reedus were a nice surprise.

Life - Far better than I expected, I just hope they don't make a sequel....but won't be surprised to see one! 7.5/10

Sorry Zim, can't agree. Much preferred Manchester by the Sea although disappointed with their Manc accents

Ha, you know we are miles apart on this as I thought the complete opposite to both, the beauty of film though...

Just to note though, @TCIB doesn't need an excuse to avoid shit films, he's normally front at the line with the recommendations (:

Watched the new Robocop again and as an action film it is alright but the original was better and hardened me as a person. I remember i was 8 or so and when Murphy gets riddled at the beginning the complete lack of humanity shown by the killers made it a very hard scene to watch. I man'd up though and remember clearly saying to myself 'don't be soft, watch it,be tough' and i did. It was one of the first life lessons i learned about the world not being all sugar and spice. I knew it was a film but there were IRA bombs at the time close to home so it was really giving me an inside view as to what people were capable of beyond the sterile news reports of the day.

I err...got hacked...my dog posted it. I was on medication at the time to and had just done an iron man challenge after being on the ISS for a bit. xD

I can't lie, i enjoyed that film but it's Clint's fault, i'll give any western a chance then proclaim at the end 'not as good as Clint' hehe.

@City_Sean you are the second person to say that, gonna give it a go. Shame she was introduced in that abomination of a film Batman v Superman... what the fuck was that ending about whilst i am at it. It was mostly ok until they obviously got the sniff out whilst doing the last hour. In fact i am going to watch it now again to pinpoint exactly when it went toilet.
