I'm a bit of a technophobe so maybe someone can answer this, but last Xmas there were HD versions of Revenant and Hateful 8, amongst others, that were available before the films hit UK cinemas, now it seems fucking months before we get the HD versions of films on kodi. Why?

They are for the consideration of academy award voters aka dvdscreener. They tend to start coming out October time as a rule of thumb. As far as i know they have not implemented any new anti piracy technology so hopefully they will leak again.

Is there a decent version of Star Trek or Jason Bourne on kodi as yet?

Jason Bourne is the usual blurry camera in a cinema rip off - and the story is just the same again..
