Last Film You Saw

Get the popcorn on the cooker. Airplane is on Film4 tonight at 7:20. Lost count how many times I've seen it, but it shirley still cracks me up.

Brilliant movie :)

And don't call me shirley

Wilson. Went to see it last night in my local small screen cinema. There were only 3 of us in there ! Read the reviews beforehand which were not great. Personally I really enjoyed it. It is quite 'left of centre' and wierd but in my view well worth watching. However, if you turned it off after 15 minutes I wouldn't be surprised. Love it or hate it but if you get the chance, watch it.

Just had a look at the trailer for it;

It does come across as a bit "Marmite-y", to be honest. Plus, I'm not a big fan of Harrelson.

Laura Dern scrubs up well though!

"Wilson" could have been bloody excellent (as Harrelson's still brilliant comic timing testifies), but it suffers from not knowing how to approach the main character.

His arc from beginning to end is bullsh*t, but bits are funny as.

As a matter of interest, have you read the novel it comes from ? I haven't but wondered what it was like..
