Green Book reminded me of Planes, Trains & Automobiles with the obvious racial overtones.
Even the end was similar.

Nope, the latter being absolute tosh unless you're watching it with your sprogs, they might enjoy it.We watched Bohemian Rhapsody a few nights back - after all the hype i expected more. It was an ok film, but nothing special imho.
Great story, not very well executed.
And as for Dunkirk, not enough Tom Hardy, too much meh. A great, and heroic story that they couldn't seem to transfer to an heroic film.
We have Ready Player One to watch, it can only get better, yeah?
I watched it a few nights ago it was brilliant, OK it's got a bit of that Hollywood shine to the message but it was a decent film well done and well acted.
It was all 'Hollywood shine'.
Nothing about it was convincing.
The long and the short of it all is nobody listens to how a bunch of people you don't know think about what you think a film is, you make up your own mind. Best films don't really win oscars in most cases it's just Hollywoods elite showing off their social credentials, however Green Book I believe was an exception to that rule.
Because it was brilliant.
