Last game we got as hyped up for?

Going back some here but a game that always sticks in my mind for the hype and excitement for a cup game was City v Spuds at Maine Road in the FA Cup in the 1992 - 93 season. Quarter Final and really fancied a trip to Wembley that year. The ground was buzzing.......unfortunately City got beat and the fans invaded the pitch, but Terry Phelan did score the goal of the game.

Don't do it to me again blues aye!

My thoughts exactly DD but I have tried to remain positive throughout this season and will do so till the very end, whenever that will be!

was going to say this one myself... i was 12 yrs old and convinced we were wembley bound...

the west ham game a close second though..

I think Chelsea at home this year had quite a bit of excitement as it was the first of the new regime...

I expect this game in a few weeks to be the most memorable we've ever had at CoMs - cheap to get in so they'll be plenty there and we've not had to give up the South Stand.

These next 3 weeks can't go quickly enough.

I want this to be the start of commentators saying 'An emotional night at Eastlands' in the same way they wank over the Kop.

This is the time where we forget about the Maine Road atmosphere - CoMs on April 16th will dwarf it.

Come on City!

That's the first time I can remember feeling so hyped up before a game, I was 9 years old at them time. Learned at an early age how to deal with that deflating feeling.

I went through every emotion that day.

When Mike Sheron scored I thought this is it. I was only 13 yrs old myself then with my Dad and Uncle and they both said to me "it's not over yet, anything can happen with City"......how right they were and have been!!!
