Last manager who I personally wanted sacked was Pearce.
Didn't object to Hughes's sacking, but I wasn't particularly seeking it.

Turning the question slightly on its head, the two managers that no sane City fan would have wanted to keep their jobs at the point they were sacked were Benson and Ball.

Has to be Alan Ball. That cap, the squeaky voice and absolutely shite football. Probably the only manager I've wanted out, I remember singing sack the board quite a lot through the 90s but I can't recall really wanting any other manager out, possibly Frank Clark runs him a close second.
