We drew at Coventry, they got a last minute equaliser; we then beat them 2-1 in replay at Maine Rd.

The most mental I’ve gone to a last minute winner, after 93:20, was Paul Lake v Blackpool in the 4th Round of the FA Cup in 1988 followed by John Gidmsn v Huddersfield in the previous round.

West Brom scored late on and we managed to somehow turn it around with Goater scoring with virtually the last kick off the game.

I think we went unbeaten until the end of the season after that setting up the Blackburn away game for automatic promotion.

It's funny how last minute goals are such a rare occurance for us (especially undeserved ones) that we can recall individual examples from years, even decades ago... and yet for a certain bunch of stuffy twats not too far away grabbing undeserved last minute goals happens virtually every other week.
