For me, Liverpool are actually a better team than them at the moment. It's just that Gerrard and Torres keep getting injured, while their star man(Rooney) has stayed fit. Luck, as ever, has played a big part for the rags this season.

liverpool are far inferior to yoonighted at the moment even with Torres and Gerrard yes I know scouse beat them)
yoonighteds squad is head and shoulders above liverpools, as is ours, we are not better than them (trafford) just yet but we are getting closer all the time.

I'm sorry, but take Rooney out of United's squad and what have they got? Some half decent players, some average players. Just like Liverpool.

Agree with the comments about the F.A.cup and fourth place,however i'm just not so convinced about the evil empire crumbling in the near future.

Why not? It's got to come to an end sometime and it's widely acknowledged that they are not the team they used to be. They've got old players, they cannot afford to replace them without selling their best players (Rooney, Vidic). If Giggs, Scholes and Van Der Sar retire they are goosed because the players they've got to replace them in their positions wouldn't even get on our bench at the moment! (Nani, Anderson, Foster).

There are very very few individual united players that i would want in our team Rooney - Evra & Vidic but as a collective unit players like Carrick and Fletcher no matter what people think have turned us over and are very likely to get into the last 8 of the CL - if you think City can do that you are living in cloub cuckoo land - cant stand the rags but have an admiration in the way that they turn out teams - yes they play shit but they more often than not still won the games. Personally i like to concentrate on the slow ascent of City instead of the demise of the rags because it is boring
