i had to sit down with head in hands waiting for some1 to shout munich or summit.

I have to say I have sang about Munich but like the first poster I am not celebrating death, I wouldn't want something like that to happen to utd today. But they sing about hillsborough and the Leeds fans, hysel I could go on. They fucking hate it and that's why we do it. That said I understand if it offends the older city generation. It to did send a shiver down my spine standing there last season staring at the utd fans waitin for us to make a noise. I actuLly believe some of them wanted us to ruin it

superb mate, like you i felt the same that day, durning that silence i was looking around at city fans, just waiting for a remark, but 30 seconds into it i knew it was going to observed. i think that day built alot of bridges between us and the rags....even though theres still the hatred and rivalry

The thing is, if we change as an army of City fans they will feel obliged to sort out their brigade who sing about Hillsboro and Leeds Don Revie.
Like us, not all united fans can be tarnished with the same brush as the ones who sing about hillsboro. Its the same about scousers who sing about munich.
If someone had the guts to try and approach all the fans to make a cobined effort to address all this i believe it would cure it.
