David Villa should be the first target on our list for jan, yeh defenders needed but he will be one of the most wanted players in Jan and we need to get in quick before anyone else

yes because i see the potential of something fantastic... but that will need the right players in the right positions... we lack 4 good players to have a great team... we arent that far off... and besides I would also know what a toll it takes on a team too play 2 matches each week when you dont have the squad for it... and besides my team(valencia if i answer as Villa) is in a bad form too so i would know how that works!!!vbr said:be honest if you were Villa and saw our performances this season would you WANT to come in january?

I honestly think Hughes would bench Villa if we signed him so he can play Benjani and Vassell in a fluid switching role.
It was so graceful to watch today. Watching two incompetent players switching places and being even less effective than normal.

lol what valencia aren't in bad form and villa is in fantastic form he's scored 12 in 13 league goals and 13 in 16 in all competitions, he isnt going to leave valencia in january! maybe we have a shot next summer but depending on where valencia finish would you want to give up a club he adores just for lots of cash? not all footballers are mercenaries who go anywhere for money.

and yes i know Villa wants to stay in Valencia... he LOVES that team... just like Messi LOVES barca... and i also know that there are players that think of happiness before money and Villa is definetily one of those players... BUT Valencia is in need of money fast and if that helps Valencia that he is sold he would accept that... and premier league is a challenge for any player world wide... why not play in the best league IF you have to go...

see isnt it better to have a discussion on things vbr... my only answer is that time will tell... at the moment its all wishing and hoping or trying to get low expectations on january window as a whole... i try to stay levelheaded in all this... im not at all sure Villa or Kaka is coming... but that said i also think there are possibilities either you or I know off... so for me its an open case to see what happens... not saying this or that
