Latest on Villa

I thought this was on the OS 'officially' given the link, it's actually just in the paper round up section on the OS. It's the Daily Mirror with the article.

My first thought was it's a stupid wind-up. I hoped so.

I dont think so though.....

Villa & Torres/ Guiza would be superb with Robinho supporting behind.

More thank likely me Bellamy, Robinho & Heskey up-front*

This was posted yesterday evening on Citymancs from some Everton fan who claims his cousin is on the Valencia coaching staff. I accept no ressponsibility for the poster or content as I don't want to join the ban list :p

I'm glad you had chuckle fella, good cure for a hangover. You have presumed correct the team i support. Not quite sure how you know i have a Spanish sounding name, but again you're not wrong.
However that's where it ends sorry. My cousin lives in Spain well in Moncofa to be exact. Street? Av De Mare Nostrum. Won't tell you his house number though. Smiley
I'm not goat in disguise either, sorry to disappoint you.
Anyway, just to let you know the deal is DONE!!! David Villa HAS AGREED TERMS! He will sign for you on the Second week of January. Valencia wanted it to go through later in the month, to appease their fans. The fee was 30m plus add ons. I Know it will cost you another 4m if you qualify for the champs league within 2 years.
I appreciate that many of you will not believe me, but remember where you heard it first.
And just because i don't support your team, doesn't mean I'm not excited about having some of greatest players in the world coming to play in the prem, whoever they sign for.

WUM or real? I'm not holding my breath ;-)

They were supposed to have offered £120mill for Ronaldo and £100million for Torres in January, Villa falls in the same category as them two so what's the prob with the price Valencia have given us?

agreed. having said that I think they mean 'overpriced' in the sense of everyone will end up that overpriced. But 17 million on RSC or 120 on Villa... Villa any day... its like comparing a ferrari to a skoda. and we need a striker so so much, when you look at benjani getting a regular place.

The only way we will get top class players to come to us at the moment is to pay over the odds. 120mill is taking the piss abit but at least Valencia have said that they would sell. I agree a striker is sooooo important for us we havent had a decent one since Anelka and he didn't set the place on fire. Benjani does not have a clue

I think he's saying these kind of illness' usually take longer to kill you than a few weeks...

I think its crazy that people are questioning this. I mean his wife has come on to give us the bad news. Are you so parinoid that you can not take this on face value.
I feel very sorry for his wife and kids and i think that when something like this is involved that you should just accept it for what it is.

RIP OB

And do you really think that a player who only joins our club because Valencia sold him to us despite him not wanting to leave and certainly not wanting to leave for us, would roll up his sleeves and be giving everything he got?

He will sign for the rags, we'll just up the bid a little to bankrupt the cunts even more.....

No but thats for Hughs to decide, if that is the case then why are they even asking about him, we will have to pay more than other top clubs will have to pay. It's down to cook and hughs to persuade a player to come then asses if he is up for it. Then try to get the club to sell him
