The comments on this messageboard calling for the managers head, slating all our new signings. The only people you need to slate is the referee for his inept performance and denying us a stonewall penalty and a mixture of Joe Hart and Kolo Toure for their cock-up, nothing more, nothing less.

We should batter teams like Blackburn, but so many of our fans simply expect for teams like them to roll over and die. Why? They came and they done what they needed to do to get a result.

Spurs drew, the rags drew and I'm sure they're not in meltdown and they don't want twitcher and whiskey noses head on a stick. Too many "burn the witch" posters on here and when there's a negative to be found, they're sure to find it.

The old City would have lost that game. We drew and were unlucky not to win. Sometimes it just doesn't go for you. That's football.

You're right of course Andy, but don't expect some to change :-(

Blaming the ref is a cop out, yes we should have had a penalty, but we had many chances that we could have finished but didn't.

I agree 100% , but some people think that money=instant success. They are absolutely wrong, money only puts us on the pathway to success , it doesnt take us to finish line directly.

Just one of those days !!!!!!!!
But some of the shite on this Forum is terrible and stupid.
4 PL games and 2 EUROPA games and we,`ve only lost one,in the very last minute of added on time !!
Get yer head out of your arses some of you idiots !!

They did fuck all and got a flukey goal, we showed strenth to comeback, we should of had a pen and samba was like fuckin superman at the back, these things happen

How is it a cop out? The penalty would have change the game as would have all the cards that the ref should have gave the Blackburn players when he failed to even give us a free kick for them. That is possibly one of the worst performances from a ref I have seen for a long time. Clattenberg is a shithouse.

So would the several chances we missed. There's a lot of blame to go around today, not just for the ref.
It's easy to blame keepers and defenderes for mistakes which are seen to cost us the game, but too easy to forget about the poor performances from the forwards, at the end of the day, missing an open goal is just as much of a mistake as missing a tackle in defence that leads to a goal. Yes the same grief isn't given out. The chance is forgotten about almost as it's over, but the defender is hung out to dry.
