How is it a cop out? The penalty would have change the game as would have all the cards that the ref should have gave the Blackburn players when he failed to even give us a free kick for them. That is possibly one of the worst performances from a ref I have seen for a long time. Clattenberg is a shithouse.

No shape... Tevez apparently is our striker - he's never bloody upfront. Lescott looks like he's running through a summer meadow until the ball comes and he shits it.

No plan, no formation, no clue.

Thats Mancini's tenure as a whole. Failed in the CC, failed in the Prem, taken away the entertainment yet we still didn't meet our targets.

I'm all for giving him time if he's showing like he knows where he's going.

Taking Johnson off and bringing Silva on, leaving Silva on the bench, refusing to manage Bellamy... poor performances week in week out (bar Liverpool) i really don't see where we're going under Mancini currently.

I don't want to put words into other people's mouths, but those of us who are doubtful about Mancini are willing him to be more attacking, especially at home, and especially against the likes of Blackburn. He continues with Tevez up front and five midfielders (with our most creative midfielder on the bench), and I'm finding this extremely frustrating. Fine, if he wants to put results ahead of entertainment, I'm ok with that. Fine, if he's a naturally cautious kind of manager, I can also accept that. But cautious, some would say negative, football, that doesn't get results means the guy is going to cop some flak.

On my way home and have to admit to being pissed off. The ref was shite but that does not take away from the fact that we just did not do enough to win the game. Thought AJ, CT and JM did OK.
