Sat in the back room with about a dozen other sons watching old clips and having a pint or three then we'd all sing the sons of the desert with the grand sheikh at the end. Thinking of joining the sailors beware up in Hyde at the cheshire ring I think its held.
Love the boys and have a nice growing collection of memorabilia on them.
On many occasions mate, first went up there in the mid 80's when the museum was only a small room and met the original fella who set it up Bill Cubin and always take in a pint at the Stan Laurel pub, me and the wife also went to Stoke for the boxing day fancy dress as Stan and Ollie. Got a lovely complete set of trading cards in a binder, only 500 made and a couple of hologram ones where even less were made of the boys from America. They really are beautiful double sided cards and when laid out the back of them complete rare billboard posters of their films in various european countries. Been collecting their stuff for years mate.
