Martinez has looked really sharp in the Europa League matches. Reminds me of a young Augero. I would be thrilled if we had a chance of signing him.
If the talk of us spending $250-300mil this summer, and taking into consideration the business we've done so far, I could see this one as a huge surprise that's been worked on in quiet since the links with Barca were shot down originally. Just seems like he would fit as an athletic number 9.

On the flip side he may want to add players to fit around him? As you say good player. I’m unsure on Inters finances to be honest but as you say they’re building a good team and Conte is no mug he’s want assurances for long term.Very good player, his release clause has expired now but I wonder if Inter would still do a deal. Conte will want to refresh the team with some quality, they were close to the Serie A this year and they are putting together a decent team. I reckon they may well sacrifice him.
