Yet they're bang on for Hazard.

As incredibly different as they are they can be equated. I would say that Lavezzi is of the Tevez mould. He runs and runs until his head falls off. He's always attempting to link up and make plays. He does well on the wing but operates best behind Cavani... but he isn't the best of finishers.
Hazard is a project. His positional awareness as winger or as a striker in the hole needs work. I've seen drop too far deep or leave himself stranded. The advantages for him are that he has a great booklet of tricks and moves and pace to boot. Hazard benefits from poor defending where as Lavezzi is facing 5 man backlines consistently.
If you were to take one of these players on a free. Paying them 100k in wages over 5 years you'd have to go with Hazard. If Bob work on Hazard's movement along the line and teach him discipline there is not reason why Eden can't be a 15 goal-15 assist man every year.
Eden Hazard doesn't have the kind of foot Ronaldo or Messi has. His cross is good, not great. His shots aren't the kind of sweet beautiful finishes one might be used to. Probably the only part of his game that isn't polished with a bit of flair.
The media is hyping Hazard as the next Ronaldo/Messi and comparing him to the likes of Neymar. He just isn't that kind of player. I will say that Lavezzi has a better build for our league. Hazard has a tendency to take a lot of knocks and isn't always wise to keeping himself away from a challenge when it isn't really necessary. In the same way Gervinho has struggled with knocks this year, where ever Hazard goes they will need a physio with some talent.
