LAWRO / CITY fragile and easy to beat

how wrong was lawro (fragile and easy to beat) well that must be the report about liverpool

even without SWP we played very well

good thing are starting to happen at man city

the next couple of weeks we could have petrov back aswell

think it would be so great to see two wingers playing

Not quite so 'easy to beat' as it happens, only one league defeat this season, Spurs away. Admittedly, we would take another defeat or two and rather won more home games (6 league draws at Anfield now) but still not an easy team to actually beat.

Agree that good things are starting to happen at Man City, everything seems to be in place despite some of the rants on here, its just a matter of time...........

What did you make of us today fallingstar? I think we deserved to beat you. We carved out the better chances in the match and even had you pinned back when we were 1.0 up. I have to admit I was surprised at that. De Jong absolutely bossed your midfield.

svennis,
not too sure City deserved all 3 points tbh, that may have been a bit harsh on us! Not got the stats to hand but I'm pretty sure Liverpool dominated territory, possession, shots, corners etc, in other words all the usual bollocks apart from the most important one; goals scored! I will say that City certainly didn't deserve to lose today and I have already stated in another thread that in my opinion the best move and best chance of the match was Ireland & Robinho's crossfield combo that should have resulted in Ireland blasting City in front in the 1st half, and he even had a second bite at it. No matter, Stephen Ireland is top, top quality and City need to hang on to him for dear life. You can score too early against Liverpool though and thats what happened although it was clear to me that Bellamy would score on his return, he feels short-changed by Rafa and I for one don't blame him, he's a fighter and just what City need atm. Things are looking bright for your club, not too much wrong as far as I can see and the fans certainly outsang the famous Kop as I have discussed also in another thread, jeez bluemoon is so busy tonight I had to log in for a chat!

last edit, svennis, I just rememberd your comment about De Jong bossing the midfield. Well do I need to tell you why? Gerrard and Alonso missing, thats why! ;-)

I was there and totally agree with you mate fair play

The big difference today was the that the usual yawning 30 yard chasm between midfield and attack was full of our players!!

so true mate, i've been saying we've needed a box to box midfielder away from home and Kompany seemed to do that well today.
