Selfridges have a policy to serve any human being regardless of their beliefs race colour or creed.

We hear many stories of shops not serving people because of idiotic shop workers personal opinions getting in the way of an honest hard days work.

If the role was reversed and Robinson refused to serve Mo then heads would have rolled and the baying and hand wringing of the tree huggers would have commenced and demanded nothing less than instant retribution and justice.

it wasn,t me that said that but anyway, the edl are entitled to their opinions are considered as a legal organisation and are obviously welcome to shop in Selfridges. The shop assistant should not be entitled to serve people he doesn't like.

Having worked in pubs i was totally within my rights to refuse service to anybody i didnt like the look of.

If the EDL came in the pub i worked at i as a barman would have refused to serve them and banned them too

However it clearly states that this was not the case with Selfridgres mate,
They put out a statement that says that everyone is entitled to be served regardless of race colour or creed or personal beliefs which is why they gave TOM robbinson a luverly slap up meal "without prejudice of course"
Again if the roles here reversed there would have been an uproar.
Do your job Mo that your were paid to do.
Serve the public and obey your employers wishes.

You miss the fact taht the employees rights and employers rights are two completely different things.
