Man if I was earning millions I’d also be doing all I could to avoid tax
How are you, Jimmy Carr, CEO of Starbucks?Man if I was earning millions I’d also be doing all I could to avoid tax
Very, very wealthy thank you! HahaHow are you, Jimmy Carr, CEO of Starbucks?
Fair point"Premier League stars are among the 329 players being investigated, while some 31 clubs and 91 agents are also being probed"
It's not only about a particular club (happily, not us) using sister clubs to funnel agent fees through, so I can't see why the thread should be closed. I'm not saying anyone associated with us is involved BTW.

If it really is agents fees, the players would not be involved as their fees are paid by the clubs. If it is separating image rights from employment, we have dealt with that previously and should not be involved again.I think there are two issues reported: first a lot of players and their agents being investigated for some avoidance scheme which may or may not be found to require a tax adjustment, and, second, a single club being investigated for payments disguising agents fees on UK deals as scouting fees off-shore, which is a bit naughty.
Apparently, we aren't the club involved in the second case, but I would expect some of our players to be involved in the first.
Most self employed people exaggerate their expenses on their tax returns its just these boys earn more so spend more. It's human nature to want to give hmrc as little as possibleMan if I was earning millions I’d also be doing all I could to avoid tax
Can't be Liverpool, they play just for the sheer honour to wear the shirt and we all know they have no money.
I don't. Although it's mainly because I'm shit at doing tax returns and because I work from home so I can't claim for anything. :(Most self employed people exaggerate their expenses on their tax returns its just these boys earn more so spend more.
