They'll come up next year. Started the season poorly so had to chase down 3rd place and came up short. Lost some key players to injury right before the end of the season and couldn't make that final push.

Carlisle were the better team, playing better football from a much smaller budget....justice was done.

Cannot bring myself to hate a club that mocked us thirty years back because it was their one moment of glory. It had never been before, and it'll never be again. On that basis, we'd have to hate about three-quarters of all the clubs in the league. They are absolutely not in our league. We're playing the F.A. Cup final next week, and the Champions League in a couple of weeks.
Also, not a few County fans are also City fans. Grew up in and around Stockport, and used to get banter off them playing footy in the parks when I said I was City, even then. Water off a duck's back.
Don't care if I get pelters for it. I really can't be bothered to hate them, and hope they go up.

Just watched the highlights on ITV with an interview with simmo at the end mentioned about being at city also his time in Christie’s what a top bloke he is very genuine. Pleased for the bloke and Carlisle one of a few grounds I’ve been to. Hopefully one day.
