Over for a few, in a way. Watched today’s historic victory with a group of the missus’ uni friends at a local (only other football fan was an Arsenal supporter, poor bloke—he was gracious in defeat, though, which was a nice change), probably the same for the Chelsea match as it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to sneak up to Manchester, but I will be at the Basel match (on my birthday, no less). Missus is Swiss—from Basel—so I’ll likely split my time between watching Foden dance around their players and vigorously consoling her (I’ve converted her over time but this is the only dual allegiances game possible, so she gets a pass).It is mate. Are you over for the match?

Just got on the train back at Euston and a load of rags were arriving back from Manchester. They got serenaded with 'mind tbe gap'. Perfect end to the day.
